My name is Katarzyna Tymek and I have been a licensed city guide since 2009. I organise and guide tours of Poznan and the Piast Route – the kind of tours I would like to take part in myself. I want a walk around the city with me to be a pleasure and for my guests to remember the images and stories of the tour. I love anecdotes – they are the ones to remember. I try to tailor the content and programme of the tour to specific groups and people – something different will be heard from me by a school group and something different by company employees on a team-building walk.

Porta Posnania is an interactive heritage center dedicated to the history of the Cathedral Island, which can be visited with an audio guide (included in the ticket price). However, even the best audio guide cannot answer your questions or tailor the story to the audience… That’s why, especially for groups of seniors and youth, a live guide is often the preferred choice. Our guides hold the required certification to conduct tours of the Porta Posnania exhibition and will gladly take you on a tour. And if you have enough time, we can also show you the cathedral and Śródecki Market.
